Augusta Preparatory Day School offers an education that rewards students for a lifetime. An independent, non-sectarian, preschool through twelfth grade school serving the Central Savannah River Area, Augusta Prep presents a learning environment in which a student can be a part of a community, pursue his or her interests, be motivated and enthusiastic to learn, and receive the finest in college preparatory education. We believe in teaching students how to think, not what to think. Augusta Prep offers outstanding opportunities in academics, athletics, and arts. We strive to instill in students a love of learning and a commitment to excellence through attention to individual capabilities, community, and honor.

Augusta Prep does not enroll only the student. We enroll families. The involvement of the parents is viewed as just as vital to the success of a Prep education as the role of the faculty. All relationships are important to us: relationships between the child and the school, the parents and the school, the child and the faculty, and the children with each other.
