Since the founding of Augusta Preparatory Day School, close to half a century ago, Prep has been fortunate enough to have steadfast support from the loyal Augusta Prep community. As our campus has undergone remarkable advancement over the years, our mission has remained the same - to provide students with the opportunity to receive the highest quality college preparatory education. As Augusta Prep continues to reach for new levels of achievement in academics, it is still grounded by the traditions that make our community special, one lasting legacy being our “tradition of philanthropy.” Today, just as in 1960, our school benefits from the generosity of our donors. Tuition alone does not cover the cost of an Augusta Prep education, and we depend on the support of our benefactors to make the difference.
People give to Augusta Prep Annual Fund for different reasons. Some give because they realize that their education at Augusta Prep was supported by the Annual Fund and they feel a duty and desire to support current students. Others give out of affection for the school or because they want Augusta Prep to remain one of the great schools in the region. Some give because they want Augusta Prep to improve, and to become an even better school.
