The Fine Arts Guild

The Fine Arts Guild at Augusta Prep was started in the 2007-2008 school year in an effort to organize parents in support of our faculty members in: Upper and Middle School Theatre, Upper School Chorus and Upper, Middle and Lower School Art and Music.

A parent representative serves as a Guild liaison in each area, assisting their faculty member by organizing parental support. In the Theatre division, the liaisons coordinate family participation in cast meals, prop and costume procurement, production concessions and other areas as needed. The Upper School Chorus liaison assists with programs, coordinates weekly Friday treats for the students and performance concessions. In the Visual Arts division, the liaison assists the faculty in hanging shows. The Middle and Lower School Music liaisons assist with production programs and setup and also help procure props and costumes.

There are no membership fees and parents of all children with interest in the arts at Augusta Prep are encouraged to participate. Call Donna Mosser or send an email dfmosser@comcast.net, if you're interested in becoming a Guild liaison to a specific program area or would like to volunteer.
