Admissions
The admission process at Augusta Prep is designed to help you learn
about the many ways your child will benefit from our challenging
college preparatory program. We know what an important decision it is
to choose the best possible educational setting for your children.
The Admissions Office welcomes all prospective students and their families to our campus.
Open house events are scheduled throughout the year, drop-in tours are given each
Friday, beginning at 10:00 A.M., and tours are also available on an
individual basis. We encourage applicants in grades 3-12 to visit
Augusta Prep classes and get to know our students and faculty. Younger
students may accompany their parents on a guided tour of the Lower
School. The Admissions Office will gladly set up this visit for you,
along with meetings with specific faculty or coaches at your request.
The
Admissions Committee evaluates each applicant on the basis of personal
interview, academic record, teacher recommendations, and admission
testing or developmental assessment for evidence of good character,
maturity, and motivation. Augusta Prep follows an open admission policy
whereby candidates are admitted without regard to race, national, or
ethnic origin.
